With over 30 years of experience in distributing Latin American products, HLB Specialties aimed to broaden its market by introducing Colombian-grown physalis. The challenge was to create packaging that not only captured the fruit's vibrant allure but also celebrated the rich cultural tapestry of Colombia, inviting consumers to experience the essence of the country in every bite.

Cultural Immersion

The design embraced Colombian motifs and the colors of the national flag, incorporating a traditional depiction of a woman in a colorful skirt as the centerpiece.

Storytelling

The back of the packaging was used to tell a story about the fruit's origins and its significance in Colombian culture, giving consumers a deeper connection to the product.
